S.S. COULOURAS XENOS, glass negative

(4914gt) : Built 1915 by Ropner & Sons at Stockton-on-Tees (engine by Blair & Co.) as the HOMER CITY for Sir William Reardon Smith & Son Ltd of Cardiff. She was sold to W.A.Young & Co., London in 1929 and renamed WYNDYKE. 1932 - Sold to Greek shipowner A. Coulouras and renamed COULOURAS XENOS. On 2 April 1941 she was bombed by enemy aircraft and sank off Gavdo Island while on a passage from Piraeus to Port Said in ballast.
