Early Medieval human remains
An incomplete inhumation of a juvenile aged 5-9 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented west-east. The skeleton was crushed and lying on top of SK 763.
Elements present: Crania, mandible, maxilla, loose teeth, vertebrae (pathology: atlas and axis fused), ribs, unsided scapula, L and R humerus, L and R ulna, unsided radius, pelvis, L and R femur, L and R tibia, ?R fibula, unsided patella, metacarpals/metatarsals, tarsals/carpals including calcaneus and talus, phalanges, unfused epiphyses, unidentified long bone shafts and fragments.
Microfauna were identified and bagged separately during repackaging. Medieval pottery was recovered from the grave.
