Seal impression: Personal seal
A shield couché (indistinct): quarterly, 1. and 4. FRANCE (Ancient); 2. and 3. ENGLAND; in chief, a label of three points, each charged with as many torteaux, EDMUND OF LANGLEY. Crest: on a helmet, short lambrequin diapered with foliage, on a chapeau a lion statant guardant enraged, crowned. Supporters: two falcons, in the beak of each a long scroll folded over its back, inscribed in French (according to Birch): ieo a.....e lel...... All within a cusped quadrilobe ornamented along the inner edge with small quatrefoils or flowers.
