Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape and curvaceous ogee handle; saucer with a rounded foot rim and slightly curved spreading sides; both painted with set pattern 259; four white reserves with black scalloped edges containing red flowers and green leaves, and green circles crossed with purple grotesque heads and bands; the reserves on an orange red ground with flowers and gilt stylised foliage; a narrow band above of red cross hatching with black cloud shapes, and bordered below with red petals and gilt; a red and gilt rosette in the centre; gilt bands to cup foot rim, lip, and saucer lip, and gilt to outer edge of handle.
