Jug
Jug, earthenware, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body tapering inwards at the shoulder, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout which has undergone extensive plaster restoration, loop handle with a raised thumb-spur and an inner spur further down, the body and neck decorated with evenly spaced incised engine-turned bands of a foliate pattern, a basket-work pattern, a beaded pattern and a further pattern; covered all over with a green glaze.
