Roman copper alloy penannular brooch
Oval-sectioned ring with milled knobbed terminals. Unusually the milling is confined to the front of the brooch. Fowler (1960) type A2. There is an iron ring around the shank opposite the terminals. May be the remains of a replacement pin.
