Teapot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on an everted foot rim, bulging body, upturned spout, scroll handle, domed cover, bead finial; decorated in purple enamel, each side with a landscape, one side featuring figures with two horses on a road, house on hill behind, the other side featuring a landscape with five figures, three in the foreground, a female seated on the ground, one on horseback, two figures in distance, one with a stick, gilt border to foot rim, gilding to handle and finial, dentil gilt border to lip, cover decorated with a small detail of a landscape scene, gilding to finial, dentil gilt border to rim.
