Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)
Plate, earthenware, recessed footring, 8-notched rim, printed in mid-blue with 'Elephant Rocks' pattern of peonies and a fence, and with two elephant-like rocks in foreground. Border pattern of oriental flowers and leaves under a diaper band, conventional pattern of curls and triangles around cavetto.
