Cup, coffee
Coffee cup, cylindrical form tapering at base to a shallow footring, plain strap handle, greyish porcelain with a green tinted glaze. Enamelled and gilded band of decoration inside cup rim: puce enamel roses alternating with gilt cornflower heads, each swag separated by a gilt dot from which a gilt of spray of leaves hangs vertically. Gilt edged rim and foot ring, outside of cup encircled by narrow gilt band 1.2 cm below the rim, handle outlined in gilt.
