Leather strap
Alfred James (Alfred James was the third generation of his family to work as a saddler. He built the Saddler's Workshop (F86.110) now at St Fagans Museum.)
A brown leather strap made by Fred James, saddler, decorated with five brass buckles decreasing in size. A plain brass rectangular piece is at the top, and a decorative name plate with the maker’s name and cockleshell pattern.
