Sugar basket
Sugar basket, silver with blue glass liner, in the form of a standing cup, the spreading domed foot with an applied beaded rim and a row of radiating pierced slots, the sides formed by vertical wires applied at the bottom to a calyx of radiating leaves, four oval medallions and festooned drapery applied round the sides, the rim and hinged semi-circular handle beaded; blue glass liner with ground-out pontil mark. Damaged, repaired and apparently extended.
