Bowl, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a very strong greenish tinge to the glaze and bluish tones in places, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides; painted in brown enamel with around one side of the exterior body the inscription "Port Royal Girls / for ever" enclosed by a wreath of leaves, brown bands around the foot-rim and lip-rim which are very worn in places. Several cracks to the sides of the bowl.
