Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a foot rim, globular body, scroll handle, up-turned spout, missing cover; decorated in puce enamel ('en rose camaieu') , on one side with a man on horseback, another addressing a seated woman in wooded surrounding, opposite a milk maid with an urn balanced on her head in a wooded setting, gilt border to foot rim, ornamental gilding to spout and handle with turquoise green, gilt border to lip.
