Chamberstick, soft-paste porcelain with a greyish, slightly green translucency; standing on a tapered foot rim curving into straight spreading sides, sconce indented at base, slightly tapered, with an everted lip; loop handle with serpentine head and forked tail; painted with three sprays around the edge, including wild roses, speedwell, and wild strawberries; gilt seaweed and dot border to lip, and gilt continuous scroll around centre of saucer; gilt leaf and berry border around middle of sconce, and gilt seaweed border to sconce lip; gilt handle and plain gilt band to lip.
