Pair of black glacé leather shoes. Worn in October 1930 by Charles Mills, Port Talbot, for a wedding. Later worn as 'best' pair. Pointed toes. Stitching around vamp, toe cap and back of heel. Scratch on right toe. Cotton laces, metal eyelets on lace holes (six pairs of eyelet holes). Smooth leather soles;. Crcular metal and rubber additional reinforcement on heels, added at later date. Suppliers' stamp inside: 'C.W.S' (Co-operative Wholesale Society).
