Late Mesolithic flint microlith
Late Mesolithic flint microlith fragment. Just the basal fragment survives it appears to have been shattered whilst in a fire. The piece has a heavy white patination and thermal fractures typical of burnt flint. Both edges display some retouch, although this is only minimal on the shorter edge.
