Teacup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, saucer with footring and flat well, cup with pedestal foot, curved sides, waisted neck, everted rim, high squared loop handle with a scrolled upper terminal, painted in the Empire style, white ground body with fine grey marbling, broad panels outlined in red and containing dark green and gold horns and shields (saucer), and trophies of musical instruments, ewers and flaming torches (cup) alternating with narrow panels, also outlined in red, of pink paterae (saucer) and flaming torches (cup); broad gilt bands to cup foot, neck and rim, and handle, saucer with a broad gilt band inside rim outlined in red, gilt band around the well and solid gilt circle inside the well
