Seal impression: Monastic
The prior beneath a crocketed canopy holding a book (for the Rule). In field (diapered lozengy with annulets) to either side, a quatrefoil panel within which, dext. the mitred head of St Cuthbert, sin. the crowned head of St Oswald. Above each panel, a fleur-de-lis, and beneath each, a cinquefoil rose. Above the prior's head is inscribed his surname.
