Jug, earthenware, standing on arounded foot rim, ovoid body, tapered collar neck, narrow everted spout; angular ogee handle with prominent thumb spur; transfer-printed in blue with the 'Oriental' pattern, a figure on a camel, laden with baggage with two exotically dressed figures to the side, in the background, an expanse of water, an arched bridge and Oriental pagoda-style buildings, repeated on the reverse side, a pillar with a large two-handled urn containing flowers beneath the spout, dividing the two scenes; a lace effect border arching over floral motifs around neck, interior of mouth and neck, floral motifs to handle.
