19th century. Woollen yarn. Pattern overall of concentric diamonds in alternating colours. Reverse twill weave, worked in blocks outlined by straight weave to give zigzag effect. Border of normal twill, also worked in blocks, both navy and natural warp threads used in border. Central seam. Fringed ends; selvage sides. Colours: navy weft and natural undyed wool warp
