Teapot, soft-paste porcelain; ovoid shape with moulded pedestal foot, and high collar with ogee-profile; serpent head spout with fluting at base edged with dentil moulding ; high loop handle with palmette moulding, fluting, and a floret embossed disc; sunken, slightly domed cover with entwined dolphins finial; finely painted with a frieze of wild flowers and strawberries; gilt seaweed border to collar exterior; interior of collar painted with gilt foliate scrolls and wreaths enclosing dark green enamel cinque-foils; gilt detailing to moulding on handle, spout, and finial.
