Tournai Porcelain Factory (porcelain factory, founded 1750 by François Joseph
Peterinck)
Bowl, soft-paste porcelain, short cylindrical foot-rim and rounded curving sides; decorated in underglaze blue with around the sides a large spray of Chinese-style flowers issuing from a banded hedge and two further groups of Chinese-style flowers, a floral sprig enclosed by a blue circle to the centre of the well, a border of a spider's web type pattern around the interior lip-rim, a blue line around the foot-rim. The foot-rim slightly chipped.
