Early Bronze Age bronze flanged axe
With cast flanges, widely splayed blade and flat butt. There is a cross-bar, a semi-circular mouilding, which links the lower ends of the flanges, and a diagonal tooling on the flanges. Recent cleaning has given the implement a polished golden surface.
