Circular, slightly dished medal, made from a 1696 florin which has been stamped smooth; on obverse is engraving of the Wynnstay Arms (a quartered shield with sandglass, cross keys, sheep carrying cross, and beehive, surmounted by a hand with a heart in centre), with ribbon below with inscription; soldered onto top is Prince of Wales feathers above crown and onto bottom an inscribed plaque; bar for suspension from ribbon also sodered to reverse.
