Spill vase
Spill-vase, earthenware, thistle-shaped, standing on a spreading pedestal foot, rounded, globular lower body, cylindrical neck, flaring to end in a wide mouth with everted lip rim; transfer-printed in purple with to the lower body a group of shells and foliage and a group of scrolls, flowers and foliage, and to the upper body two groups of scrolls, flowers and foliage, heart and loop dentil border to the exterior lip-rim, to the interior of the vase one group of shells, scrolls, flowers and foliage and one group of scrolls, flowers and foliage.
