Seal impression: Bishop of St.David's
An oval, and ornamental, shield: dext. (Sable) on a cross (Or) five cinquefoils, ST.DAVIDS; impaling sin. (Gules or Sable ?) a wolf salient, LOWTH. Carved outerborder. (A sharp ridge across the middle of the impression refelcts a deep horizontal cut on the matrix, presumably made for the purpose of cancelling the seal's validity. Lowth held the see but for a few months).
