Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded slightly spreading foot-rim, globular body sloping sharply inwards at the shoulder to a cylindrical neck, horizontal ribbing to the lower body, narrow bands of beading around the lower body, shoulder and exterior neck, plain beak spout, plain loop handle; a broad band of a royal blue ground around the exterior body, this sprigged with to either side of the body crudely executed groups of figures which have been overpainted in red, orange, green and brown enamels, the rest of the exterior of the jug, the interior neck, the spout and the handle covered with copper lustre. The neck broken and repaired.
