Post-Medieval stone inscription
Comprising the lower part of an inscription cut in lettering of late Roman appearance on a dressed surface and framed on the left-hand side by two vertical furrows and on the right by a single broad groove. The surviving part of the inscription reads: -]/NDINENS/ESCUBIN/ATVSER/AT) Some features of lettering suggest Renaissance.

Notes: found in the northern hedge of a field adjoining on the west the road from Llanvihangel-Ystern-Llewern to Raglan, 250 yds. south of above, and thought by him to have been disturbed when an adjoining field bank was removed by bulldozer two years previously
