S.S. HERVOR BRATT (1576gt). Built in 1911 by the Bergen Mekaniske Verksted, Bergen, Norway, as the COMMODORE ROLLINS for the Unifruitco Steamship Co., Glasgow. She was launched on 16 February 1911 and delivered in the April. 1931 - Sold to A/S D/S Commodore Rollins (A. Halversen), Bergen, Norway. 1934 - Sold to E/F Front, Reykjavik, Iceland, and renamed COLUMBUS. 1936 June : Sold to Ab Line Transport, Stockholm, and renamed CARL MATTHIESEN. 1941 August : Transferred to Ab Banankompaniet, Stockholm. 1942 February : Sold to Rederi Ab Diana, Stockholm, and renamed DIDO. 1943 January : Sold to Steamship Ltd Adolf, Göteborg, and renamed HERVOR BRATT. 1946 September : Sold to Cia Colombiana de Nav, Maritime SA, Bogota, Colombia, and renamed MEDELLIN. 1953 February 25th :The ship ran aground in the Magdalena River (Colombia). She was pulled away after a while, but had suffered such damage that she was sold in the autumn to be broken up in Baltimore.
