Milk jug
Jug, rectangular, the four sides convex, pronounced lip. Applied with simple angular handle. Dark chocolate japan, decorated with a continuous band of intersecting ovals below the rim and a band of guilloche around the base, all in gold. Varnished and crazed. Black japan to base.
