Barnett, Julie (Julie Barnett was employed as photographer on a project run by the then Welsh Industrial and Maritime Museum (National Museum of Wales). The project sought to record community change and the regeneration and redevelopment of the Butetown/Cardiff Docks area. A photographic book was an output of the project - 'Below the bridge: a photo-historical survey of Cardiff's docklands to 1983', Cardiff, 1984.)

H.M.S. ST. DAVID. “Ton” class minesweeper (No. M1124) launched 17 May 1953 as H.M.S. CRICHTON by J.S. Doig (Grimsby) Ltd. Renamed H.M.S. CLYDE on completion in May 1954. In 1961 renamed H.M.S. ST. DAVID and attached to Naval Depot H.M.S. CAMBRIA at East Bute Dock, Cardiff. 1976 refitted at Rosyth Dockyard as a Fisheries Protection vessel and renamed H.M.S. CRICHTON. 1980 joined the first Mine Counter Measures Squad (MCM 1). She was broken up in April 1987. (Source - worldnavalship.com)
