Meeting Rooms

Conveniently located in the heart of the city, National Museum Cardiff offers a unique meeting setting unlike any other in the Welsh capital and our flexible meeting rooms can host a variety of meeting set-ups.

Located on the ground floor of the Museum, situated right next door to the Restaurant, our meeting rooms come equipped with inbuilt projectors, screens and PA systems. Perfect for AV presentations and workshops. The rooms come with access to event-only Wi-Fi and we can offer hybrid meetings. With a variety of capacities and set-ups available, please see options below to find the right meeting space for you.

Dylan Thomas Meeting Room

  • Fully accessible by ramp through the main doors, with lifts to each level, including the bathrooms and a ramp from the restaurant.
  • Maximum capacity for the room is 20.
  • Accommodates Board Room meeting or Theatre style.

Augustus & Gwen John Meeting Room

  • Maximum capacity for the room is 50.
  • Accommodates Board Room meeting, Classroom or Theatre style.

Oriel Suite

  • The above spaces can be opened up using built-in sliding walls to create our largest meeting room.
  • Fully accessible by ramp through the main doors, with lifts to each level, including the bathrooms and a ramp from the restaurant.
  • Maximum capacity for the suite is 80.
  • Accommodates 50 board room–style, 80 theatre-style and up to 60 in cabaret style.
