Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre

A lecture theatre with red seats in a semi-circle and a stage with a grand piano, microphones, a large screen and the name 'REARDON SMITH LECTURE THEATRE' written above.

Our beautiful Reardon Smith Lecture theatre, named after former Museum treasurer and president Sir William Reardon Smith who oversaw the completion of National Museum Cardiff, is a hidden treasure of the city.

A favourite with national and international speakers, the space comes equipped with a built-in projector, wall screen and PA system and can accommodate up to 300 delegates. Ideal for lectures, conferences, intimate performances and ceremonies. Featuring two foyer-style entrances, a unique green room, original staging and furnishing. In regard to accessibility, we can host up to 7 wheelchair users and the theatre has an accessible toilet on the same level.
