The Anne Thomas was the second vessel built to the order of Evan Thomas, Radcliffe & Co, Cardiff, completed in 1882 at palmer’s famous Jarrow yard. She is seen here off the north coast of Anglesey, awaiting a pilot to guide her into Liverpool. Sold to Norwegian owners in 1905, she continued to trade until 1920.
