You Are the Curator

The term ‘curate’ has been mainstreamed into our vocabulary but what exactly does it mean? Take on the role of an art curator to explore how one work of art can respond to another and create new meanings. 

Duration: 1 hour
Cost: Led by Museum staff - £40 for up to 15 pupils, £60 for up to 35. Free for some schools (see booking information).

Expressive Arts  

  • Exploring the expressive arts is essential to developing artistic skills and knowledge and it enables learners to become curious and creative individuals.  
  • Responding and reflecting, both as artist and audience, is a fundamental part of learning in the expressive arts.
