A visit to a museum or art gallery is a rich and safe environment to acknowledge and support our mental wellbeing. Join us at National Museum Cardiff to discover calm, creativity and connection in this interactive workshop. Set within the Museum’s inspiring art galleries, this session encourages learners to slow down, explore their senses and engage with the collection in thoughtful and reflective ways.
Learners will be led through a number of mindful activities throughout the art galleries. They will have the opportunity to develop visual thinking strategies and experience creative mindfulness activities in a totally unique environment.
Learners will be encouraged to engage with their senses. Please let us know when you are booking if you have any pupils that would be sensitive to these experiences, and we will do our best to make everyone feel comfortable!
