Woolly Art

Have fun colouring a picture of your choice using different types of wool you have at home.

You will need:

  • Paper / Card
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Different types of wool
  • Felt
  • Coloured pencils / pens
  • Anything else to make your picture e.g. lollipop sticks

Instructions:

1. Sketch out your drawing design in pencil it can be as detailed or simple as you like.

2. Cut your wool into short lengths as its easier to use.

3. Put glue on the paper, PVA, Copydex or Pritstick will work.

4. Stick your wool down close together to make a block of colour.

5. If you don’t have loose wool, you can use a pet brush to brush out wool from a normal ball or from felt sheets.

6. Have lots of fun with colours and shapes.
