The report highlighted that there was much to be pleased about at Amgueddfa Cymru, including that “people really enjoy their work at Amgueddfa Cymru and consider the organisation a good place to work” and that there was a high buy-in to the organisation’s values amongst staff. Amgueddfa Cymru will be assessed again in 2026.
Phil Bushby, Amgueddfa Cymru Director of Corporate Resources said:
“We are delighted to be reaccredited with Investors in People, and achieving the step up to a ‘Silver’ accreditation is the cherry on top. We really value the Investors in People accreditation process in Amgueddfa Cymru because it allows us to see where the gaps are in our corporate strategy, to improve our performance, but also it allows us to champion the needs of our amazing staff. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without their enthusiasm and dedication to their work and we say a big ‘diolch a llongyfarchiadau’ – thank you and congratulations to them all”.
