Treasure found near Bronington, Wrexham
Late medieval hoard of gold and silver declared treasure
A medieval coin hoard of three gold and twenty five silver medieval English coins, of the reigns of Edward III, Richard II, Henry VI with three pennies of uncertain rulers has beendiscovered near Bronington, Wrexham. The coins were found on several occasions in 2013 by Mr Cliff Massey with the aid of a metal detector, while the ring was found by Messrs Cliff Massey and Peter Walpole while metal detecting on 16 March 2014.

Eight discoveriesdated to the Late Bronze Age(around 1000-800 BC or 3,000-2,800 years ago), the Middle Ages(from the 5th to the 15th centuries) and the Tudor period(16th century) have today (22nd April 2015) been declared treasuresby H.M. Coroner for Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan.

A Late Bronze Age hoard of two gold artefacts, which are thought to be dated to around 1000-800 BC, or 3,000-2,800 years ago, have today (26th March 2015) been declared treasure by H.M. Coroner for North East Wales.

A Late Bronze Age hoard of four gold and copper artefacts, which are thought to be dated to around 1000-800 BC, or 3,000-2,800 years ago, have today (25th February 2015) been declared treasure by H.M. Coroner for North West Wales.
