Join former Museum Keeper Dr Dafydd Roberts as he chats with Cadi Iolen about his career and the role of the Museum in interpreting the history of the slate industry.

  • Our coffee shop serves a small range of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.

Location Parking

Ample parking nearby, for cars and coaches. Please note there is a charge for the carpark.
Padarn Country Park car park is owned and operated by Gwynedd Council. The parking costs £4.50 – and there is a card facility payment. (www.paybyphone.co.uk/ or use the paybyphone app / Location 804552)  If you can only pay by cash please be aware that we are unable to supply change at this time.
