Event:MUSIC IN THE FOUNDRY!
Come and enjoy Music at the Museum! Hear the outcome of our ‘Sbragio!’ project, where Ysgol Brynrefail students have created music inspired by the unique sounds and vocabulary of the slate industry. They will perform their work at 2pm, along with relaxed acoustic sets by Tesni Hughes and Gwilym Bowen Rhys to follow. Drop-in sessions - no need to book! Friday 1 November / 2pm - 4pm This event is part of 'Farewell ...for now' activities - to mark the last week of the Museum being open before closing for a period of redevelopment! The National Slate Museum redevelopment project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, UK Government via Gwynedd Council as part of the Llewyrch o'r Llechi project, Welsh Government and other fundraising. |
