Whilst we are closed we want to continue our story beyond the walls of the museum. While all the planning, renovation and refitting work take place we want to make the most of this unique opportunity. In partnership with LleCHI LleNI, we will be taking our people, our collections and our stories to partner locations at the heart of the slate story communities.
Come visit us at the International Ras yr Wyddfa this year! Our Museum on the Move pop-up exhibition will be in Y Ganolfan all day, with our resident quarrymen performing their unique slate splitting demonstrations on the event field.
