Event: Museum on the Move: Cwmystradllyn

National Slate Museum
Finished

Whilst we are closed, our next step is to continue our story beyond the walls of the museum. While all the planning, renovation and refitting work take place – we want to make the most of this unique opportunity and we’ll be taking our people, our collections and our stories to partner locations at the heart of the slate story communities.

Come and learn about the history of Gorseddau and Bwlch y Ddwy Elor quarries. A talk by Dr Dafydd Gwyn and an opportunity to see artefacts from the collection of the National Slate Museum and Gwynedd Archives Service.

Date: Monday 25 August

Time: 10:30am  - 12:30pm

Location: Tyddyn Mawr Tea Rooms, Cwmystradllyn
