Trails are bilingual.
Age - Suitable for age 3+, younger children may need help.
Cost - Free.
The Nature Trail is available throughout the school Autumn holidays, excluding days when the Quarry Hospital is closed. Last entry for the trail is at 3pm.
The Quarry Hospital is open Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 4.30pm.
Accessibility Information
Cars are not permitted up to the Quarry Hospital, excepting for Blue Badge holders, with prior permission. Car parking facilities are available in Gilfach Ddu, near the National Slate Museum, that has a daily fee of £5.25. Please refer to Parc Padarn's website if you have any queries regarding parking facilities at Gilfach Ddu. There are two paths to access the Quarry Hospital from the National Slate Museum.
