Event:Museum on the Move: Walking Tour with Rhys Mwyn, Penrhyn Castle
Join us on a walking tour with Rhys Mwyn from Penrhyn Castle to Llandygai village, learning about the Penrhyn family's history and industrial connections. The walk will take approximately 2 hours, covering a distance of around 2 miles.
Following the walking tour with Rhys Mwyn, at 1:30pm there there will be a talk by Penrhyn Castle's Richard Pennington, Penrhyn Castle Collections and House Manager, who will be discussing the industrial collections at Penrhyn Castle that are linked to the Dyffryn Ogwen area.
We strongly recommend wearing shoes and clothing that are comfortable and suited to the weather conditions on the day.

Accessibility: The walking tour follows Penrhyn Castle's entrance road/drive and should not cross any uneven ground. Remember it is approximately 2 miles of a walk, therefore we are unable to make adjustments for accessibility. Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothes and footwear suitable to the weather.
Ticket Information: Please ensure that you arrive at Castell Penrhyn 10 minutes prior to the start time of the tour. We will register all attendees outside of the Visitor Centre in Castell Penrhyn, if you could make your way there promptly. Ensure that you have purchased a ticket prior to arriving on the day, as tickets will not be on sale.
