Research Interests

History of design and the social histories of material culture within Wales. Craft practice, craft theory, and the display of craft in post-war Wales, particularly in relation to Welsh national identity. Traditional musical instruments in particular the Welsh Triple Harp. Other interests include the social history of subcultures in Wales and LGBT history.
