What's On:Amgueddfa Cymru’s Wellbeing Festival Month
Join us at Amgueddfa Cymru during the month of March to celebrate all that museums have to offer to boost our mental wellbeing.
Visit any one of our seven museums throughout the month and have a go at a range of activities which can eliminate stress, improve mood and help us deal with everyday challenges.
There will be a variety of drop-in and bookable sessions including love spoon paper craft, hand loom weaving, gaming for wellbeing, music, dance and much more. Mindfulness features heavily as there are opportunities to take part in mindful walks, slow looking art tours and mindful painting for children.
Find out more about new mindful resources being created for all of our museums in collaboration with Mindfulness Wales, and see the new ‘Sensations’ boxes for those with additional sensory needs, created by artists Anna Coviello and Ticky Lowe.
You will also have the opportunity at some of our sites to meet other organisations who can help with positive mental wellbeing and signposting to further information, support, advice and guidance.
This will also be an opportunity to find out more about the Public Health Wales Hapus Project.
Supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
