Topic: Rain - Auvers by Van Gogh
Did you know we have a famous Van Gogh painting on display at National Museum Cardiff?
Not only will you have a chance to see the painting up close, but this is a rare opportunity to recreate your own version of a Van Gogh painting, using different paint brushes, and fun mark making methods, such as finger painting and natural materials.
Our family painting party is hosted by local artist Rachel Rasmussen. She will guide you through step-by-step easy instructions, while painting along with you.
- All materials will be provided and are included in the ticket price.
- The museum coffee shop will be open until 4.30pm. Graba a drink and join the fun.
- This is a family friend event that’s suitable for all ages and abilities (recommended age 6+).
- Tickets are non-refundable and spaces are very limited. Grab your tickets while you can!
- Tickets include an exclusive visit to our impressionist gallery (after the gallery has closed to the public). This is a chance to see and admire the original Van Gogh painting that you’ll be recreating.
- This session will be delivered and guided in the artists first language, which is English.
