Talk:Behind the Scenes: Roman pottery

National Museum Cardiff
Finished

A chance to see some of the Museum's collection of Roman pottery up close.

The period of Roman control of Wales is notable for the large quantity of pottery that survives.

The visit will explore how this pottery provides insights into everyday life and trade in the period and is key to the dating of sites.

This visit will take you into the Archaeology artefact study room which is where all new discoveries about the archaeological collections are made.
