Talk:Behind the Scenes: Sea life around Wales and beyond
A chance to see some of the Museum's collections of marine invertebrates such as sea worms, shells, crabs and lobsters and learn about the research that goes on behind the scenes to map the sea life around Wales.
This visit will take you into the fluid store where we keep the marine invertebrate collections and you can find out how our scientists discover and describe new species.
Booking Information
- The tour will last for approximately 45 minutes. Please meet at the Ticketing Desk in the Main Hall.
- The tour costs £8 per person.
- The tour will be in the curator's first language which is English.
- Due to the behind-the-scenes nature of the tour there will be some spaces which will require you to be in close proximity to other visitors and the curator.
- Tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds or exchanges will be given to latecomers.
- Due to the chemical smells in the fluid store, the tours may also not be suitable for pregnant visitors.
